Recently, Beran, along with NBC Today host, Matt Lauer, sponsored the Robert Jay Lauer Golf Tournament at The Breakers Palm Beach http://hpbc.com/index.cfm/go/matt_lauer. She also supports the Golf Samaritans in Richmond, VA, which raises funds for the Children’s Miracle Network with funds going to the Children’s Hospital in Richmond.

Steele has been active in the Carilion Hospice Program http://www.carilion.com/homecare/html/hospice.html in Roanoke, VA and also supports the Children’s Miracle Network. She and her husband actively contribute to institutions of higher learning and to various charities throughout the Roanoke Valley.
